About cont....chemo I did not complete the full regimen. God used a staph infection to actually save my life. That is another story - but,suffice to say i was grateful for staph, which few people can say. My “active” journey continued over the next five yearsculminating in a second mastectomy in the spring of 2009.I have been cancer free since that time, although I developed lymphedema of the trunk about ten years ago and continue todeal with that on a daily basis.I am so thankful to be alive! I know God has a plan for me or He would not have saved my life nearly 17 years ago as I lay inthe critical care unit dying. I do not want to waste one day of the precious gift of LIFE God has given me. Please contact me if I can help you in any way. Even if you just need a shoulder to cry on...I am there for you.
